Things to Do in Meeker, Colorado

Meeker is a quiet town in western Colorado, but that doesn't mean there are not things to do out here! Check out some of our guests' favorite activities when they stay with us!

Hiking & biking Western Colorado

Hiking & Biking is part of Meeker!  The Phillip & Dorcas Jensen Memorial Park is 57 acres of rugged open space with groomed hiking and mountain biking trails for all skill levels. The Memorial Park trail system also provides access to additional BLM trails.
We are surrounded by mountains and forests, and it remains one of the greatest activities that you can enjoy.
Check out the trail system here!

Meeker Fairgrounds and the Town of meeker

There is always something going on at our local fairgrounds or in Meeker. During the summer we have the Summer Rodeo Series,  Range Call with live entertainment from well known names, 4th of July celebrations, Farmers Market, the County Fair, and the Meeker Mustang Makeover to name a few.  In the winter we have the Meeker Skijor, Parade of Lights and the Meeker Sled Dog Races.
We are also horse friendly for those that are wanting to explore the horse trail systems, participating in the rodeo or the Skijor.

ATV and Side by Side guides

We had a fantastic year in 2021 and 2022 with many recommendations from our guests that we should have a guiding service.

This is what a guest had to say;
"James and Amy invited us to go for a ride with them, they were great hosts. We enjoyed it so well that when they told us they were going for another longer ride later that weekend we joined them. The landscape is just gorgeous on the trails they took us on and we were so glad that we had guides to take us around. My husband has back issues so we had told them that and they were cautious about which trails to keep us on, we stopped a few times for breaks and they took great measures for safety with everyone in our group. If my husband was not having surgery in a few weeks we would definitely be going back in the fall to see all the fall foliage on the trails."

Give us a call to schedule your ride!
